Summary: This was a ripoff because I never received these speakers and/or never got my money back. I was hoping to receive them early to start hearing music on them but how can I hear it if I never get them? I would like for someone to resolve this problem.
A MUST HAVE!!! Worth it's weight in gold, 5 times over.

Summary: There are not enough stars to be able to rate this system. Got right in the original box w/ the packaging, and as soon as I plugged it in, and gave it a sound test, I ended up ticking off my rm mate because of the bass (that and waking up to static x prob didn't help matters either :P ), and it was not even at 1/4 volume. I was able to turn all the way up, and almost had my coffee cup fall off the desk from the bass.

Summary: I have just recived these speakers, plugged them in and listened. The sound quality is OK but lacks refinement. The bass is very good. I managed to get a better sound by adjusting the EQ in iTunes as the standard sound is a bit harsh. I paid £25 for these and have noticed thay are now £19.22 so a bit chessed about that, but for under £20 they are definately worth buying.
Summary: I'd previously bought a cheaper 4.1 set, and the bass on that was rubbish. However, this 2.1 has great quality of sound, and a really clear bass. Sure, it's never going to shake the floor like more expensive systems, but that's absolutely fine for me. From my considerable searching, this provides the best bass for the price-range. Highly recommended.
Summary: the speakers broke very quickly but where ok, i got 2 yamaha YST subs but they didn't work with aux leads, when they where boing shipped i tried to blow the subs (i bought this set twice) and they didn't blow, i played the heaviest songs i could find and they didn't blow, i still use them both now, honestly if i was you i would buy this set just for the subs, they are amazing.
Summary: Nice set of speakers. All connecting wires already wired up. Volume control on the sub woofer section of wire. Some crackling and bass has no control just a general up down volume roller. If you have and equaliser it shouldn't be a problem. If subwoofer is set quite apart ( set wire length allowing), you can get an acceptable sound and a decent volume out of it. I use it for the phone or pad to get additional volume as sometimes programs have a low sound to them.
Summary: I bought this a long ago but never got around in writting anything about it, so these speakers have been with me for almost a year and they are the best no change in sound quality still vibs my floor
