Excerpt: Do NOT BUY this speaker set! It is a Hercules product which should be of good quality. But that is only in theory, not in reality. The sound was awful and it kept giving out in the right speaker. All in all producing a bass heavy sound lacking in the midrange and highs. And that one is the 'active' or powered speaker, so imagine it is supposed to be the more powerful and efficient speaker of the two. Instead we see just how bad a poorly made audio product can be. It was either defective or just a very poor quality speaker. I have 2 other models of hercules speakers that are wonderful and do not have any of these issues. Both of them being DJ-Club models. The 4769226 and 4769227 models respectively produce amazing underrated underpriced sound you will love! But again, do not buy this model or you will be regretting said action.
