Summary: I bought these as a companion speaker for our snappy, high-style iMAC, based on looks. I had some misgivings in the tiny 1" speakers used for the satellites, but trudged on, trusting the Harman/Kardon name. They looked great next to the Mac, but only sounded...OK.

Summary: I have owned these speakers for two years. The design is really cool, blue glow and all. The speakers produce a nice sound and fairly wide and precise sound imagery. In use they are not so practical as there is no second input nor headphone output and the speakers are easy to drop sideways.

Summary: Forget the earlier reviews that tell you there is no power switch. There is one on the back of the subwoofer, and it also serves as a bass volume control. Anyway, I am absolutely amazed at the sound that these things put out.

Summary: Holy cow, I cannot believe how awesome these speakers are!!! My home desktop is using a Logitech THX 5.1 system, and I was looking at getting a 2.1 system for my personal laptop. I did massive amounts of research on various Logitech, Klipsh, and Creative systems.
