Good speakers but might not be worth the money
21 May 2014
Summary: The speakers produce very good sound quality, warmth, and good bass. The good sound quality is as expected for the price of these speakers. The cosmetic design of these speakers are a big selling point from many reviews, but I think that's over hyped. There is one negative about the speakers is that it does not have a separate input jack for a 2nd device like smartphone or portable music player. Many lower price speakers have a 2nd input jack.
Summary: I just got these speakers, and they are outrageously good. The build quality is beautiful, the satellites themselves are actually heavier that the sub woofer itself. The sound quality is also phenomenal very good highs and deep lows, the mids are decent. Also very easy to set up. Only downside is that there is a slight hissing on the left speaker, i think this is normal and is due to the high sensitivity of the speakers themselves, sometimes it's there sometimes its not.
Love its design and quality. Moreover, the price is affordable!

Summary: I bough it because I liked it since I was in Europe. Remember back then. I could not afford to have it since the price was so high. I love its design, pretty unique and the quality is pretty good too. I drive a mini and they use Harman Kardon in all minis I guess. I love the speakers in my car too. So far there is nothing I dislike about it and I think about buying it again if my parents love it when they see it.
Summary: My Harman Kardon Soundsticks 3 came in the mail and I was very excited to get them. The construction of the product is amazing. The satellites are heavy and feel of high quality material, the same goes for the subwoofer. It was very easy to set up and I was listening to my music in no time. I was even able to hear some of the more subtle sounds that I couldn't hear before.
Very satisfied. And yes, I used them to play music.

Summary: I am not a musician or an audiophile, far from either. I don't know what 'mids' are or what a 'K hz' refers to and I'm pretty sure I'll get by in life without ever finding out. Not to say I don't admire the people who do know all that stuff, it's just that I'm the sort of bloke who enjoys a good glass of red and couldn't give a fat rat's clacker what vintage it is or whether it has hints of chocolate and blackberry. If it tastes good, that's all the matters to me.
Summary: I bought this while looking for a Bose 3 quality for a bose 2 price, OK this is a lot more than 100$ but the sound quality is amazing! i definitely wish these came with a remote and perhaps the possiblity to adjust the treblle level ( still this can be done from the computer). i am really happy about this purchase.
Summary: Really love these speakers, the design is what hooked me, been coveting them for a long while. The price is what made me go for it (129 on amazon, WOW). Said they were out of stock, would be mid-Feb. before they would arrive, but I got them less than 7 days after I ordered them, that was an unexpected surprise! I'm a design junkie. Apple stuff all the way, these fit in seamlessly with my iMac and other peripherals. So that part is great.
Summary: I am a musician. These speakers look great; that is the main reason I bought them. I do wish the sound quality was better. The sound quality is above average, but not great. However, I was able to use software graphic equilizer to adjust the sound to a better balance. The frequency response is uneven. The tweeters are all very small speakers, 1.25 inch wide, with one woofer unit. Since there are no mid-range speakers, the mid range is compromised.
Sleek, modern speakers a hit for the home theatre.

Summary: A great, sleek addition to a small home theatre viewing experience. The sound is crisp, clean, and the sub adds the perfect amount of depth to any movie we've watched. The clear design is modern and does not distract from the rest of the room décor. The only downside is the power is located on the subwoofer which, in my current set-up, is not easily accessible (and it would be great if it was connected via wifi).
