It's great if you accept it's limitations.

Christopher Smith "Jamaican", Amazon
5 January 2015
  • Summary: These are a decent pair of speakers. They can get loud but you will get scared they'll get damaged and turn them down. They are bigger than I expected and doesn't push out as much bass as I had hoped (compared to a smaller pair of onkyo speakers I had acquired in japan).

Sounded good while they lasted

Bradley C., Newegg
10 May 2014
  • Pros: Good sound, especially for the ~$40 price.
  • Cons: Connection to the left speaker failed after 2 years. Putting a headphone plug partially into the jack and wiggling it could cause the left speaker to intermittently reconnect. The left side of fully plugged in headphones didn't work either. They were worthless after the side cut out. Also, they a...

  • Summary: I listen to a lot of classical musical and opera, so I therefore like clear sounding music; these speakers seem to do that most of the time but sometimes I hear a crackling I think might be caused by one or both of the tweeters.

Massive

Thomas W., Newegg
2 April 2013
  • Summary: They are freaking massive almost to the point of being way too big for me to handle,
  • Pros: Produce a large amount of base and treble and sounds pretty good.
  • Cons: The bass is pretty overwhelming even when treble is turned up and bass is turned down. , not the loudest set of speakers but they can do the job.

Good but not enough

Jean-Pierre I., Newegg
28 May 2012
  • Summary: If you have the space and don't mind a little sound sacrifice, you can't go wrong.
  • Pros: Price, price, price. Sounds way better then other brands in this price bracket. Midrange speaker helps. Bass + Treble control.
  • Cons: After reading Customers review, I expected way better sound. When bass is at maximum, it becomes muddy. Bulky. Led too bright (easy to fix).
