Summary: I would buy these again. For the price, they are pretty usable. Nothing spectacular. Do not expect to be overwhelmed. Any time you see speakers touting P.M.P.O, you know there is some shady marketing going on. These are on par with 2 to 3 watt speakers.
Pros: Small Footprint Not overly loud, but adequate 110 powered, but no wall wart Good reproduction of voice tones Headphone jack override
Cons: Not great for multimedia No tone control (is set to a medium warmth) Not a lot of extra cord length (but pretty adequate for a typical setup) Light, easy to knock over. (I lay them down where I can)
Summary: Definately worth the price if all you need is speakers for your computer and your not concerned about great quality.
Pros: PRICE!!! got these for ten dollars with free shipping. Decent enough sound for ten dollars, all I use them for is basic computer sounds, no music or gameplay.
Cons: Sounds very compressed, no bass, but not expected from such a cheap pair of speakers. Cords are also on the short side but wasn't much of a problem if the speakers are relatively close to the computer
Pros: For 10$ plus free shipping, this is about the cost of lunch. It's a throwaway purchase that's pretty useful. Relatively loud for the size, although I doubt the 100W rating. Integrated power supply.
Cons: Quite tinny. Not at all good for music. Cords could be longer. Utterly unshielded. A cellphone anywhere within 10 feet will make these emit an incredibly loud clicking noise every once in a while.
