Cons: Cell Phones cause horrible feedback in the office. Buy them if you’d like to drive a co-worker insane, its about the only good thing about these speakers. Don’t be cheap like I did, spend 25 bucks and get something better.
Summary: too bad i missed the free shipping offer :(
Cons: everything except for the price...basically the sound is awful and there is constant feedback/static. i guess you get what you pay for, but there are less expensive speakers available on newegg so if you are looking to save money buy a less expensive pair of speakers...they cant possibly be worse than these
Cons: These speakers pick up cell inteference horribly bad. Even if my cell is in another room they will still pick up any incoming call and make horrid sounds. The fix is 3.00 shield from any local hardware shop, but even for a budget speaker this is something that should have been built in.
Summary: I bought these a while back and, initially, I was pretty pleased. The sound quality was fairly good and they produced a loud sound. Also, they don't really have that tinny sound that you associate with naff speakers. However, as the weeks progressed, I started to encounter problems. Firstly, I noticed that the headphone jack is awful. It causes a horrendous buzzing sound that makes it unusable - and I have tried several sets of headphones.
Summary: Bought hese to replace an older set of speakers thinking that the cost may have come down for decent speakers but found these very tinny and nearly useless, they vibrate badly unless they are on a very low volume. I thought I would take a chance on a cheaper set based on other reviews but will replace shortly with something of better quality.
Summary: Genius SP-S110 100W Speakers - Black Bought these to replace an old (£10) set that lasted me a good 10 years. I was low on budget so thought these would do the trick. You get what you pay for! And they're very cheap... - No Base to speak of. If you like music, you'll hate them. Extremely Treble heavy and adjustment through the OS doesn't help. They end up quite tinny with a very sharp metallic sound. - Very Short Cables. The 50cm between speakers is fine.
