Summary: This system is cheap (you get what you pay for), but has specific uses for the audio pod. It was installed in a video arcade machine where the volume could be controlled externally while the speakers were inside the arcade (not readily accessible).
Summary: I'm not an audiophile, but I should have just spent the extra 40 or 50 dollars and bought decent speakers. I wasted my money. Before you buy, make sure you take note of just how physically small each piece is.
Pros: Low low price, Decent volume
Cons: The satellite speakers produce a flat, tinny sound that's no better than the cruddy little 2 inch speakers that used to come free with pc's back in the 90's. It reminds me of listening to my grandparents cheap old black and white tv. The subwoofer is barely audible, except at very high volume.
Summary: The sound is awful, empty, no atmosphere, poor resonance. My first idea was logitech, the first idea is often the best ... I did not know this brand (Gear Head) I wanted to save ... I used an hour, it is in its box since.
Summary: I purchased a new HP computer and Hanns-G monitor and I wanted a good amplified audio system to go along with them. I spent the EXTRA money for this Gear Head 'PRO-SPEAKER' product, because I've used Gear Head in the past and liked their products. Well, this audio system is terrible.
Summary: I got this for $20 on sale. I could've went to Goodwill and gotten some for $5 and they would've sounded better! There is NO strength at all from the woofer, all you hear are the two tweeters... and it doesn't sound good! Bottom line: spring for some better speakers than this!
