Summary: The bottom line: These are decent computer speakers that will not disappoint the great majority of listeners. Accuracy is above average, clarity is well above average -- even at volume -- while bass is just average... and perhaps a tad below average given the high price tag.
Summary: Subwoofer ok but satellite speakers very poor. Since I ordered two good satellites recently, I still have a very nice sound system. Replaced an old Soundworks digital speaker setup, I really was expecting better satellites. Can not recommend Edifier speakers for any reason.
Summary: Having no need for analog sound processing, I was looking for speakers that had an optical (digital) input so that I could use my motherboard's inbuilt sound, saving the need for a separate sound card.
A bit thin in the mid-range but perfect for my TV sound.

Summary: I wanted a 2.1 speaker system to improve the sound I was getting from my LG 50" plasma TV, specifically the bass, which was not good. I needed a digital optical connection as that is all that is available for external speakers on this TV and could not use and didn't want to pay for a good 5.1 or...
Summary: Product is great, while it works. Mine just died - right output doesn't seem to work. Connecting the right or left speaker to the left output works. Switching left & right input also still produces sound on the left output.
Summary: i got these due to from some reviews and they look nice with the small satellites with the tweeter and midrange. the bass at first does not seem to be enough or weak but as the volume goes up it actually sounds great it is tight not a boon boom you can tell the diff.
Solid Speakers, great sound quality, good buy for what you get

Summary: I bought the speakers to upgrade a small set of speakers I had in my dorm room. My goal was to get a decent set of speakers which would be plenty loud to get complaints from anyone on the floor.
