Summary: I was in the market for a higher end 2.1 system when my search ended up at the Edifier website, I was impressed with the specs and decided to delve further, found a set at a nice price and pulled the trigger, my previous speakers were the Logitech Z-680 which I enjoyed but the Edifier is definitely next level as it should be given the price difference.
Pros: Excellent fit and finish, Bass response, Very nice satellites
Cons: Sub is pretty big if you don't have the space
Summary: This EDIFIER system is awesome, it rocks like no other, price-value is definitely a plus. The only very small draw back is the mid-range are a little weak, but nothing to write home about. Overall, very satisfied with the looks, quality, sound power and clarity.
Amazing Quality, Stunning Looks, Incredible Power !!!!

Summary: We did a little research on the Edifier S730 system before purchase and reviews were positive but nothing could prepare us for how good this system is or for the absolute power of the speakers. Oh and the bass is "REALLY DEEP" Extremely good quality and built to last. The two smaller speakers were the biggest surprise, bigger than expected and such fantastic quality with a really nice weight to them finished in piano black, not like a lot of flimsy speakers you find in...
Summary: What can I say about these? well there cant be any louder or better speakers on the market than these, the woofer is under my desk and the bass that comes from it is outstanding. Not writing loads coz thats not me, just get em u wont be sorry.
Summary: So. Edifier S730. Price < quality. Sound is clean. Subwoofer can produce a lot of bass and keep it in the different volume modes or music styles, movies and games. The satellites are powerful and work in the same way as subwoofer - perfect, clear an load. The bad think is that neighbors are complaining a lot :-D It is a pity but the system made in China. Still it's not a big problem, at least for me.
Summary: I consider myself something of an audiophile. I put a few thousand dollars into a Martin Logan set of speakers, with the Dynamo 1000 sub and a high end receiver. The sound system was life changing, however recently I moved to a different province, and am living in a building where I couldn't utilize the output of such speakers.
Summary: This set up replaces my huge, beatyfull vintage amp/speaker-system consisting of two Pioneer S-910 and two AR 10pi speakers and the top of the Pioneer 'Silver Face' amps, the SA-9500. When we moved to a much smaller house some six months ago, they were not allowed to come with us - my wife had lived with them for ten years, and enough was enough. I was able to sell them for a good price and instead buy at set of active so-called studio monitors.
