Excerpt: Here’s a look at a nifty speaker system that looks like it jumped off the pages of a Sharper Image catalog. Edifier’s MP300 is one of the smallest speaker systems we’ve ever seen, but can it deliver a rewarding sonic experience despite its size?

Summary: decent speakers, maybe a little too much bass, and definitely a lack of overall control of the sound. Volume has to be re-adjusted every time you switch speakers back on too. Overall they're ok for the price, but wouldn't expect anything mind-blowing.
Summary: Rating was driven by price of under £30. But also, unit is very well made and the finish and tactile quality is high. These got a very good reception when originally released in 2010. At that time there was little else available and it retailed at around £70 I think. A friend of mine bought one around 3 years ago and I remember, on hearing it, that it didn't sound that much better than the unit from Aldi I had bought which was reduced to £10.
