Summary: Purchased this speaker to help out with the audio on an iMac for use in a safety training room at work. The stock speakers on the iMac sounded better than using this speaker. Have given the unit away. Would not recommend this product to improve sound on an iMac.
This speaker complements the monitor nicely and provides decent sound

Summary: Just the size I was looking for. I recently bought a Mac Mini, which means I had to supply the monitor, keyboard, speakers etc. This speaker complements the monitor nicely and provides decent sound. Its not going to replace more expensive speakers like my Big Jambox, but for the price, it can't be beat.
Summary: The sound is good, it has some bass to it, looks very nice, but it now only works at random and my computer says USB device not recognized, so it just cuts in and out. I had it about a year now, and just replaced it with a beats pill.
Summary: All 3 of my macs will not go to sleep when this speaker is plugged into the usb port. A work around is to plug the usb cable into a usb power adapter, like the iPhone charger, and use the analog output of the computer connected to the Aux input of the speaker.
Unique design, plenty of volume, better for voice than music

Summary: I bought this speaker to attach to my TV in the kitchen. The small TV's speaker shot the sound up under my cabinets so I bought this to provide "direct" sound. The speaker is not very large but is very well made if not slightly over-engineered. Its all aluminum with the volume controls on the side. The speaker provide plenty of volume however the sound is flat and blunt. I am also able to aim towards wherever I am sitting to optimize the sound.
Summary: A good product. This speaker is a great portable speaker with excellent sound quality and it takes very little room in my travel gear. Plus it is easy to connect and operate on either MAC or other personal computer.
Summary: I was so excited to receive this speaker as I read quite a few good reviews. The other reviewers must work for Edifier; this speaker sounds horrible. While it goes loud, that is all it has going for it. I was quite appalled at the bad sound quality. The sound is thin and lacks any semblance of bass. I could live with the lack of bass, but it truly sounds no better than a transistor radio. If it was $15, I could excuse the suckiness.
Summary: I bought this based in no small part on the overall great reviews posted here. After using it for almost 8 weeks now, I can safely say it is "ok" at best and worth $20 at most. Here's why: Design/Ease of use: 5 stars - you can't beat the sleek looks, and it's extremely easy to use with the USB connector. One minor glitch is it isn't always recognized by the soundcard and/or once you turn it off, the system doesn't automatically switch back to normal speakers.
Summary: We purchased this to replace bulky desktop speakers. These are good speakers and take up little room on the desk. Just sit it on the monitor stand and start listening. Just miss the subwoofer. We use this for our IDevices as well, just use a usb charger to power it. Sometimes wish this had batteries for more mobility / portability. These fit my need for space saving speakers. Mid range and tweeters are nice sounding. Good sounding no bass.
Summary: We live in a fringe area where hills and distance result in weak and noisy FM radio reception. By using a laptop computer, we can stream FM programs live from the FM station's Web site. Adding the Edifier USA MP250 Sound To Go All-in-One Micro Speaker to the laptop computer provides noise-free FM programs with excellent sound quality.
