Awesome Satellite Speakers, OK Subwoofer, Great Overall Setup

Summary: Great clarity and volume coming from the speakers and even at high volume distortion isn't really a problem until you reach perhaps 75% into max volume (which is too loud for a regular sized room anyways) but that's typical of speakers in this price range. Overall the satellites are very good units and I was very impressed. The subwoofer unfortunately, is only slightly a let down.

Summary: OH! This one is great. The sound produced by these Multimedia Speakers are to my mind phenomenal for this type of equipment. The highs are crisp and clear and the subwoofer produces deep and clear sounds whether operating at high or low volumes. I love it!
Summary: I had some 2.1 Acoustic Authority speakers that i paid about 100.00 years go that finally went on the fritz. I needed some speaker's for the interim and I had about 50.00 So after much debate and a trip to Best Buy I tried out the logitech z323 and the creative t3300 inspire. The logitech sucked the creative was much better......Best Buy doesn't carry edifier at the local store. Ive had creative before and they were touch and go so i was on the fence.
Summary: My husband was irritated by the sound quality of the flat screen TV. It seems that the thinner the TV's get, the worse the speakers are. This was super easy to hook up, and now we get great, solid sound. That "tinny" thin sound has been replaced with nice, even bass. We liked it so much that we bought a couple more for gifts.
Summary: This is definitely not a bad system. If this was my first set of speakers and subwoofer setup, it would be awesome. But it's not. I've had the Klipsch Promedia 2.1 speaker. The Klipsch speakers are awesome and the sub will blow you away. The problem is these speaker/sub go out way to easy. At least it did for me. Anyways back to the Edifier M1380. The high and mids on the speakers are as good if not better than the $140 Klipsch speakers.
