Summary: For 50 bucks, what would you expect? For a 4" subwoofer what would you expect? NOT THIS MUCH SOUND!! Plug the speakers into the sub, plug the sub in the wall/power strip, hook the jack into your audio device and SOAK IN THE SOUND. Puts my Bose wave radio to absolute shame. Get this, buy it, use it. I've been jamming mine out pretty hard now for several months with no issues. It does begin to blow out near max volume, but that's to be expected.
Summary: I started looking for speakers after my old harman kardon speakers blew out, and after a while, I stumbled upon these. I didn't have the money to buy another expensive speaker system, so I was on a tight budget, after reading the mostly positive reviews on Amazon and looking at the tech specs, I decided to go for it. The package shipped on Tuesday, and it got here today. For free super saver shipping, that's honestly beyond belief.
poor sound quality, poor construction, NO significant bass.. Fail.

Summary: i rarely write reviews but this product was so poor it inspired a response because it was such a disappointment. I would advise strongly against purchasing this product. I've had inexpensive Altec Lansing speakers for 20 years that had a REAL subwoofer and crisp highs. This has neither- low dull flat sound, and NO bass to speak of. With the volume on top setting on both computer and speakers, volume sounds like it should be middle volume.
Summary: Just received these speakers from Amazon, and I have to say this is the best $35.00 I have spent in a long time. The tone is sharp and punchy. My last speaker system was Altec Lansing and while they have more expensive traits(separate bass and treble controls) they honestly didn't sound better for three times the money. If you read a negative review of the Edifier speaker system I would advise you to ignore it. Some people bitch about anything.
Summary: PROS. Sound quality is good, bass is "adequately" deep, product looks nice on my desk, comes with a stylish wired volume control remote. CONS. Has no hardware buttons/dials/controls to tweak level of bass, treble, or balance. You only have Volume control. I find this annoying since those hardware controls are important for perfect personalized sound calibration.
