Excerpt: These speakers have a modern look and have a premium feel to them and don't feel cheap at all. I would say that to find speakers on par with the Exclaim e10 you would have to look in the $200 range. The bass is great but not the huge booming base that a lot of people like. If that's what you're looking for, go get a sub-woofer, or spend hundreds of dollars on expensive speakers because you will not find that at this price point.
Pros: Cheap, Easy Setup Plug And Play, Great sound, Stylish
Excerpt: Sound: Excellent. It's crisp, well differentiated and seems to handle a wide range well. I've tested it on a variety of music and speech, at most volumes. Even at the loudest, I'm not hearing any distortion. I feel these are getting everything possible out of my Mac Mini.Set Up Requirements: The speakers are very "plug and play."They are tilted. If you put vertical speakers on your desktop, they direct the sound at your chest.
Pros: Easy To Set Up, Easy To Use, Excellent Sound, Well-balance Bass
Awesome job, Edifier. 1 year on and sounding better than ever.

Summary: it's been a year since i got these and they just get better over time. much better sounding(clearer, less muddy bass) than the bose companion 2 which my friend has. still amazed how much sound can come from these uniquely shaped desk speakers! do not regret this purchase one bit. get them,so worth it for the price!
Summary: Really great speakers for laptop, computer or smart phone. They're compact & don't take up too much room and, having a subwoofer on each side is a plus as well. A friend in the UK purchased a pair while I was visiting & I was impressed enough to get a pair for myself. I recommend these speakers.
Summary: We use our iMac as a TV so I bought these mostly for watching Netflix and Amazon streaming shows. These speakers sound surprisingly good for $100, a definite improvement over the built-in iMac speakers and the aesthetics fit very well with the iMac as well. I will be finding reasons to listen to more music now too as a result!
Summary: These speakers are incredibly good for the price. The only down side to them is the bass is a tad on the weak side. If you like something with a lot of bass, get a system with a sub-woofer. However, if you don't have enough space for a sub, or have budget constraints, I highly recommend these. Yes, their looks are a little odd, but they really do grow on you. I've had mine a while now and they actually look very nice with my setup.
Summary: Bought these speakers to replace an older pair of Altec Lansings I've been using for almost a decade (went with a crappy Genius 2.1 SW-G2.1 2000 first and am returning them), and I couldn't be happier with this new pair of Edifier e10's! I was skeptical at first due to their small form and odd shaping, but the sound coming out of them is impressive. They have crisp, clear mids and highs, and the bass is actually really good as well.

Summary: Wow. I repair/upgrade/refinish high-end speakers for a living & I'll have to say I am totally shocked at how good these little speakers sound. I'd read a review a while back from a industry friend of mine so when I saw these available at the price I decided to get them for use with my laptop. I can't recommend them enough. Very out-of-the- head 3D sound with decent base, & great mids & treble.
Summary: This speaker system belies its price. Better sonics than I expected. Bottom end is not 'growly' but is more than just a hint at what is in the recording. Nice spatial presentation. Can't help but wonder how these would perform with a better bottom end. Had to deduct one star because this system is very inefficient. At full up volume settings on speaker and in system the sound level leaves a bit to be desired. Not a deal breaker for me.
