Summary: This was a risk as I have not had much experience with this company. It came very well boxed, smelled nice, and had quality control stickers on all components. Surprisingly this looks very nice in my entertainment center. I hooked it up to my PS3 through optical using Linear PCM 2Ch. and ticked all 4 boxes, unticked Dolby Digital 5.1, DTS and AAC. I was blown away by the sound quality as everything was clear with no popping or hissing. It does the decoding very well.
Summary: Yes it is sort of a play on words but, you won't believe it until you hear it!!! With there being just 2 reviews at the time for me to read, I was very thankful that both these guys gave me the impression that they're very knowledgeable about the whole audio scenario. They most certainly are!! I personally had to give this awesome product a complete 5 stars myself. Keep in mind however that this is a simple amplifier with no tuner or cd player.
Summary: Overall: I think the Edifier C2XD is a good deal. If you are looking for a 2.1 system for around $120-$180, than I say buy it. Compared to the Behringer MS40 speakers, the Edifier speakers have a worse mid-range, but the Behringers don't come with a remote control and they don't include a sub-woofer so they are lacking bass.
Summary: Let me start off by saying i am very picky about audio in general and have been through many sets of computer speakers, trying to find the right one. I've owned the corsair 300 watt system, bose companion 3's, shelf systems used as pc speakers, and i always had the same problem, why in 2013 can i not get digital computer speakers? The options are so thin, i know the companion 5's by bose are but the sattellites are so tinny i cant appreciate the audio.
Summary: This really is a very impressive system. The build quality and overall style are what strike you when you first unpack it. Everything about it just says "quality". The speakers and sub-woofer feel solid and robust whereas the amplifier unit is both of those things as well as being very eye-catching. More importantly, it sounds very good too. The treble sounds are bright, crisp and clear without being harsh.
Summary: Spent a decent amount of money on these... I wanted loud sound and huge bass... This bass box shakes the house, if you're in the same room you can feel it in your chest! Great thing about it is that it doesn't distort when playing at loud volumes (Even maxed out) Would recommend !
Summary: The sound is as good as I had hoped. Clarity and range very impressive; just wished I had not believe the PC World salesman saying a cheap pair of speakers had a great sound (4 years ago) Finally justified buying a new set (old speakers went to new family PC).
