Not the best...

Student, Staples
10 June 2014
  • Excerpt: I've been in the hunt for portable USB speakers for quite a while now. I workout daily and continuously use my laptop as my workout DVD player. The ones I have now, the wire is starting to break and feel it's only a matter of time before they don't work. I bought these headphones mostly due to the cheap price and the convenience of them being magnetic (easy to carry). Though the magnetic part does make it convenient, the wires are a mess.

a little bulky, too many connections

7 June 2014
  • Excerpt: Replacing a previous portable speaker, super convenient, which is dying. I didn't notice that this requires not only connecting via the usb port but also at the headphone port. Seems much too fussy. The carry case is poor, requiring that you disconnect wires from speakers to store. That said, sound is fine, but this is not nearly as portable as I would like.

Excellent value

  • Excerpt: These speakers are compact and attractive. They travel well because they cling together in their own little cloth bag. Excellent sound for their size.

There are great!

Sandy Burton, Staples

  • Excerpt: I did not expect too much out of these speakers. I've brought some other kind before and I heard better without them. My son watches movies on his laptop when he's at karate and thaty can be kind of loud (evenin the hallway). These speakers work AMAZINGLY!!! We actually had to turn the volume down a little bit. Now, he no longer has to put his ear by the speaker to hear and stretch his eye to see the movie at the same time.

Simple, inexpensive and they work!

Cal Trace, Staples
4 May 2014
  • Excerpt: I needed very simple, basic speakers that didn't take up a lot of space. I also wanted speakers that powered with a USB port. I followed the instructions and plugged them in to my desk top PC. They work just fine for my needs. I mostly listen to the news in my home office and don't need anything loud or fancy. The ability to power with a USB is a plus. For the money I consider them a good value.

cord breaks

GoldenN, Officemax
14 April 2014
  • Excerpt: second pair of these I have broken. The cord that connects the speakers to the computer is just so fragile. Latest pair lasted a month. Before that maybe three months. Something causes the cord to get pulled on and snap. sound is ok and met my purposes at work.
  • Cons: Durability

Great Value for the Money

Steve Kerzan, Staples
10 April 2014
  • Excerpt: My speakers of 9-years finally went out and I bought a set of the same size but they did not have the quality of sound that I expected. I do wear hearing aids and am considered profoundly deaf. These Cyber Acoustics speakers that connect with only a USB jack are great! The price was less than 1/2 the cost of the larger speakers and they do not take up as much room on my computer desk as my old speakers yet, the tones have a quality that I can hear and understand without...
