Summary: Very attractive model. Extremely low quality product, I bought these speakers not long ago, they worked ok in the beginning then after using them sporadically for a couple of months the sound deteriorated and went down. I certainly would not recommend this junk!
Summary: I bought this in 2011 to use with a Windows laptop/notebook purchased new in 2007. It would not work. I emailed the company, sent screen prints from my computer, and they were of no help. All I got from Cyber Acoustics was an cc of an email between Cyber Acoustics employees commenting that "It looks like he doesn't have the drivers he needs." When I asked about how to get the drivers - they simply said they don't supply them.
Summary: These speakers met my need for convenience, quality and price. I am using these for presentations when I travel so appreciate the nice zipper case as a plus. Sound quality is very good for medium size rooms.
Summary: Ok, I can't fairly review these because I only bought the apparently identical Insignia NS-2908 2.0 Portable USB Speaker System Those Insignia speakers are obviously exactly the same by all measures that I can tell. They're much cheaper. Anyway, I compared these to my CA-2988 speakers which are single-speaker, more portable, and have a 3.5mm input. I really appreciate the 3.5mm input more than the USB audio because it is more flexible in terms of software routing.
Summary: I was looking for something small that didn't need batteries or en extension chord that could be portable and still be serviceable for MP3s at low to reasonable volume in my home office. This is USB powered, and connects to a PC tablet or smart phone. I preferred a 1-piece system, but the pair will stick together thanks to the magnetic front of each speaker. The sound quality is surprisingly good for such a low price.
Surprisingly good, impressing and powerful sound for my laptop

Summary: As a musician, I care about the quality of sound, I have a single flat speaker from Brookstone which is very flat and space saving for traveling, I like this speaker but it uses 3 AAA batteries which live only a few hours. I wanted to get battery free speakers, and the USB powered speakers are a good option to go with.
Summary: These USB-powered speakers are well-made and powerful enough to fill a small room. They have no battery and no aux input and work only plugged into a computer USB port. They sound quite clear on voice but tend to be boxy and shrill on rock, better on acoustic stuff. Clearly they're intended for casual use, especially to travel in a suitcase.
Summary: These are a great set of speakers. They are USB powered which is very convenient. The USB connection is ideal length for plugging into a laptop. I bought these for use with my PC. I bought a USB extension and plugged them into the back of my PC. The speakers powered up right away with no problem. There is enough wire length between R and L so I can space them on my desk.
