Summary: Hello everyone, I just opened and installed my brand new device and of course I'm so excited about it. and i'm sure I made a good decision to buy this product. however I'm big fan of remote and to be able to control device remotely, imagine when iphone is on charge on top of the device. I would recommend Creative Co. to put a small remote inside package, and also I the cable. I understand that this supposed to be wireless but my desktop does not have BT.
Tricky setup, OK sound, very useful and full of potential

Summary: The concept of building degrees of surround sound is pretty cool--nice use of bluetooth, and had the sound quality been better, it would probably be a worthwhile investment since it works with every device I have tried it with (iPhone, iPad, a few laptops). The initial setup isn't quite as straightforward as pressing a button and waiting for it to show on the other device's screen, but it's not horrible either; it just requires a little reading in the instruction book.
Summary: It took us a while to get this system set up, as we were moving house, but we've been enjoying it for a couple weeks now. Once set up, it is easy to use, and we are often streaming Pandora through our phones and playing from our ipods wirelessly. I've shown my kids how to do it (ages 9 and 11), and they are able to get their music and audio stories on by themselves now.
A Lot of Sound in a Sleek, Contemporary Box. No Telephone Customer Support.

Summary: This little ZiiSound system is good looking & packs a mighty sound. Paired with the companion sub-woofer, this little device is pretty sleek, and is really all you need for a bookshelf sound system. We've tried it with both and iPhone & iPod Nanos & both produce nice, clear audio. As others have written, the instructions are poorly written & it is impossible to reach customer service via telephone. The only way to reach customer service is to email.
Summary: The best iPhone dock I've used, but I've only used a few. For some reason, when I set the phone on the dock, it won't play anymore! It did at first, but now I have to use the Bluetooth transmitter. Which is fine if you've got plenty of battery, but it's supposed to be able to play and charge when it's there on the speakers. But the Bluetooth works really well, and has good range, and the sound of the speaker is darn good.
Summary: Very nice audio system, I connected a iPad 2 and iPhone 4 with no problems. I have the iPhone connected with the wireless transmitter, when I want to use the iPad through bluetooth, all you do is remove the transmitter from the iPhone and turn on bluetooth on iPad. Very compact unit with passable sound quality, obviously dont expect HiFi sound but good enough for casual music listening or getting good volume watching videos.
Summary: Once I figured out the controls of the ZiiSound wireless speaker, I was able to stream music from my iMac, MacBook, iPhone, iPad, and even my iPod Classic, thanks to the included Bluetooth transmitter. Even better, the speakers have surprisingly big sound for a single speaker unit. If I wanted, I could even set up a multi-channel sound system, without using a receiver, by purchasing separate speakers.
Summary: I'm here to tell you that if you read the instructions before you use the friggin' thing, then you might realize that it actually isn't so difficult to figure out as some people reviewing this product have claimed. Granted, it takes a little getting used to but once you familiarize yourself with this product, I would assume you'd be pleased with the overall quality of it.
Wonderful design and very nice sound but needs clearer instructions

Summary: The D5x design is very clean. Its touch controls are elegant but need better clarification. The instructions refer to the the touch controls but don't explain where they are or how they function. I was getting a little frustrated trying to follow the instructions as the touch controls were not apparent to me. After I figured out the touch controls I really appreciated them. As for the sound I'm very pleased.
Summary: First of all, a previous reviewer is wrong about needing bluetooth to be turned off on you device in order to play, and is wrong that that there is no way to adjust the volume. You can in fact play out from your bluetooth device to the speakers whether or not the connector is attached to your iPhone or iPod. You can adjust the volume infinitely from Off to a very loud level. The problem most people will have in setting this up is that the instructions are not very clear.
