Summary: Bought it during Black Friday, so there should be no complaint for the 80 bucks spent. However there are reviews saying that it's a top class bluetooth speaker are really doubtful/irresponsible. It's in fact not as good as Bose Soundlink Mini, Klipsch KMC1... not even come close to them.
Summary: After a long and hard search for a bluetooth speaker system for my small apartment, I purchased both this Creative ZiiSound D5x and the less expensive . Beyond aesthetics (D5x has touch-sensitive buttons and a volume indicator), the units are quite similar.
Summary: I ordered the D5X with the sub woofer. The sound is great given price and size of the speakers. I agree with other reviewers, the directions leave a lot to be desired. After one week the D5X stopped working. No sound would come from the unit whether the connection was Bluetooth or audio cable.
Summary: This is an above-average quality speaker with good sound for a wireless system. I'm not sure why other reviewers found it difficult to use. It was a snap to set up with my Android phone, iPad 2, and PC. The controls seemed straightforward to me too.
price & weird interface make for overpriced experience

Summary: The Creative ZiiSound D5x offers good sound in a compact, solidly build unit. But the quirky connection process makes it difficult to just USE which is strange since it is designed to work easily with Apple's iPhone and iPods.
