Summary: Like this unit. You get what you pay for. The sound is perfect but for the price I will not be buying multiple units. I use it to play music on the deck on weekends and move it in and out of the house.
Summary: This speaker has been great so far. The bass response is more than one would expect from a fairly small unit and the high end is smooth but still bright in tone; not tinny. A great alternative to an expandable system like Sonos or Bose but at a more reasonable price.
Summary: The sound is great out of this unit this size and for the money. Looks great on a shelf too. I bought this primarily to be used in a fixed location so I'd prefer it not shut off after 10 minutes. I'm not using the Bluetooth connection yet (using the aux connection, which doesn't come with an aux cord by the way). So the one drawback is the power button (located behind the unit) that has to be turned on each time for an auxiliary user.
Summary: The sound is very good for its size. Sound balance is generally centred around midrange, sufficient treble, and bass that is very good given its size (meaning, it will not shake the room, but this is the most bass that can be reasonably achieved with this size of speaker). For those with damaged eardrums, the speaker will go to very high volumes with minimal distortion.
Summary: I do enjoy the sound from this box. Since I am not an audiophile and have some hearing loss I can only comment on my experience. The only frustrating part I had at the beginning was with the pairing of the bluetooth of the box and my iPhone4. Initially I had lots of trouble getting it to work. I even tried a direct wired connection and it didn't work. I did get it to work once, but not afterwards and couldn't figure out why at the time.
Summary: The ZiiSound D3x is a full range speaker that connects wirelessly to your Bluetooth-enabled phone, computer, or tablet and produces better sound, period, than any of those devices can produce. It is reasonably compact, about the width of a DVD/BluRay player, and about 3.5" high and deep. Rubber feet on the bottom protect whatever it's placed on.
Summary: I really love these bluetooth speakers. Whether you're using it as a wireless stereo to pump out music from your iPod or, like me, you just want to use it in place of low-quality laptop speakers, these things are quite convenient. This Creatve D3x, in particular, has a small, sleek design which looks pretty cool. The sound is also pretty great. It will easily fill a large room with music without any distortion, and it does low-tones surprisingly well.
