Summary: Creative needs to improve their speaker systems. My old speakers I purchased over 10 years ago that is Creative P5800 still rocks but now I'm have to take them from my other computer and use them on my new computer.
Pros: Look nice ok on sound, base is way too much distorts even at low volume. Hard to control the base. I have the Creative Sound Blaster Zx card. Sound cards are great, speakers not so great.
Cons: After a month or two it stopped working no sound. RMA it back to Creative. Cost $40.00 to ship it back. They replaced it with new system and right out of the box the right channel does not work. Can not see getting a RMA again and spend another $40.00 to return it. So a bad buy.
Summary: I will just throw this out there, I saw at least one review stating that the (3) small satellite speakers were DOA. If it's the first time connecting 5.1 speaker system to your computer, it's probably defaulting to 2.0 or 2.1 speakers, so it's not seeing the (3) new speakers.
Pros: *Compact *Easy Setup *Awesome Sound I have to say, I expected really good sound because I still have a set of Cambridge Soundworks / Creative 3500 series 5.1 surround system that I've owned for about 10 years. They still work but the volume control knob is starting to go out, touch it and you los...
Cons: Probably like a lot of folks, speaker wires too short. 4 ft. from floor mounted sub woofer to desktop is just not enough length. I had to buy RCA Extensions M to F 3 ft. for the front left speaker and center speaker, and (2) 10 ft. extensions for the rear speakers. The only con I had, but knew it...
Pros: Ya it sounds great. This is my second creative speakers I have had. The first set is still working great I use on my TV. And what is even better with Creative speakers is Creative Sound Blaster card. That really wakes those speakers up. Like the new style of the speakers and subwoofer. I know the...
Summary: This unit is great for the value for a PC hook up. I like the optical connection which allows me to plug into my receiver / amp and then I can use my other speakers. I would like to see more base volume, and the satellite speakers are great, I do video & music.
Summary: Sound quality is mediocre at best, very disappointing for a Creative product. Add in very short cords for all front speakers, limited control options, and trouble with the left rear channel being half volume for no apparent reason(not software related, trust me I spent hours digging into the issue),...
Summary: Out of box failures in multiple ways....1 speaker completely dead, one jack on subwoofer to right front speaker failure. Tested these speaker on other devices to verify it was not my new computer rig, and it was definitely this system. Creative was always solid equipment.
Summary: Creative needs to take a lesson from Logitech, Logitech has the center speaker designed so it sits sideways and has a mounting adapter so it can sit on top of monitor. Go back to the drawing board on this one, or just make 2.1 speaker systems
Pros: The Speakers have a great sound
Cons: The center speaker sucks, It doesn't have a mount to set it on the monitor, so it has to sit in front or behind the monitor. This is a terrble design
Summary: i had received mine earlier than expected and the packaging was good. the pictures make it look bigger than what it actually is BUT this s*** bump ! ! ! If your looking for a system to put in your room, look no further for only 65$ this is the best system you'll find for this price.
