Summary: By J. J. Marino "GeekDomo" Title says it all. I am very pleased with this set of 5.1 speakers from Creative. In years past the quality of Creative Labs has gone from top of the line down to the worst garbage on the planet. Its taken them some time to rebuild their reputation as a quality product. Enter into the mix this set of multimedia speakers. At first setup I was underwhelmed at their choice of volume control.
Summary: For the price, these can't be beat. I had a Creative Cambridge 510d that let me down after a few years of faithful service. I WILL be repairing them, the sound was the best I have ever heard in a computer speaker scenario. It is hard comparing these, because these are sub-100 dollar speakers, the others were 500.00 speakers. But they do ok, very efficient and fairly clear sounding.
Summary: By Bay Gibbons When I received my Creative Inspire T6160 5.1 Multimedia Speaker System, I had intended on using the system for my TV. I soon found out that the connections were not compatible. However, after purchasing a Logitech 5.1 Game Console adapter Convert RCA Plugs to A single 1/8, that obstacle was easily overcome and I was able to enjoy the speaker system in the way that I wanted. The speaker system provides very good sound.
Summary: Not bad for a 5.1 system priced at $75.98. However, I price matched it for $51.70 at the time I bought it. The people who can benefit from it will be the ones having a good sound card otherwise I think it will not sound that good. I have a problem with the centre speaker since it needs to be kept vertically and it blocks the view of my monitor so I have to put it horizontally.
Summary: I ordered these speakers on a budget. They just came in about an hour ago. It took a bit to get 5.1 to work, but it turned out to be a sound card issue. I highly recommend these speakers if you're on a budget. The 5.1 is great for movies and games, and sounds great.
Pros: Good sound, strong bass, great for it's price.
