Creative T6060 5.1 Speaker System

  • Excerpt: I bought myself a projector a while back for the purpose of creating a small scale cinema in the comfort of my home. I had the big screen to watch movies on but needed some good quality sound to go with it.

Great first set of surround sound speakers for anyone on a budget.

  • Excerpt: Two years on and still going! I picked these up for forty pounds and could not be happier. At first I thought they would work on my TV, foolishly! Make sure your PC is compatible before buying is my advice. This means checking your sound card. The bass on this set of speakers is phenomenal, you can hear my music from quite a distance away so be sure to be on good terms with the neighbours. As surround sound speakers go this is a bargain and I couldn't be happier.

Not Bad - If You're On A Budget

  • Excerpt: If you want an affordable surround sound system for a computer, this isn't a bad option. Just do not think that you will be getting a highly sophisticated system that you can use for home cinema. The beauty of this system, is that everything is both small and cheap. Meaning if your computer is in a small space: you can easily have a decent surround sound experience. It's made clear that they are only for use over a small area as the rear speaker cables are very short.

Inspire T6060 is Good Value for Money

  • Excerpt: Build Quality 4.5 / 5 Sound Quality 4.5 / 5 Price 5.0 / 5 Value 5.0 / 5 Personal experience: Easily installed, very unique-looking satellite speakers. Small size is good for small spaces. The sound was very impressive to me. I had to rewatch all my old DVD's after realising how much soundscape I was missing before which I never knew was there. The wired remote has Volume and Bass controls, as well as headphone and line-in jacks on it; very convenient!
  • Pros: Quality High - range reproduction
  • Cons: None for a speaker in its class and price - range

  • Excerpt: I bought these speakers for my games, and music and I wasn't dissapointed. They are surround sound and when playing a game I can now hear people behind me. Also the subwoofer is so powerful, when I am in a tank, the floor vibrates as the tank does to add to the experience. Music is also very good, it delivers some good bass lines, and the tweeters do justice to the higher sounds. I can turn it up and immerse myself in the music.

Frustratingly inconsistent

  • Excerpt: Creative's "comparison" section of their website describes the musical performance of these speakers as "outstanding". I think a less ambitious "reasonable" would be more appropriate. First impressions are good: the speakers look quite stylish, don't take up too much desk space and have a handy remote with an aux input for a personal stereo. Sound quality is superficially impressive too, with a warm, strong bass courtesy of the seperate sub box.
  • Pros: Small size, rich bass, remote with aux input .
  • Cons: Poor midrange, over reliance on sub to compensate for poor satellites .

Great sound, but not for those with large rooms.

  • Excerpt: BRIEF: The Creative T6060 Speakers produce wondeful sound, especially for the price. The only quibble I have is the length of the rear speakers cables. SOUND: Sound is really hard to review, unless you have 5.1 High Quality audio, it's always going to be biased. But simply put, the sound on these speakers is great! They aren't very big, but that doesn't apply to noise it seems! I don't usually have them very loud, but if I were to do so, they have no problem with it.
  • Pros: Excellent Value For Money
  • Cons: Rear Speaker Cables To Short?
