Summary: I've been using these T3030's for about 3 years now. They have worked well and I haven't had any problems with them. The wired volume and bass control is very nice. What I find slightly disappointing is the sound quality. To me, they just don't sound very good.
Summary: I decided to ignore other reviewers' comments about these speakers missing mid-range and being a "one-note boom box". Besides, I was getting them free with the super-saver shipping and the $30 Amazon VISA credit. So I can't and shouldn't complain since I didn't pay a penny for these.
Summary: I bought these to replace my old Microsoft Sound System 80s speakers that I purchased back in 1998. That's how long those lasted, and I loved them. These pale in comparison, as far as sound. Going to get a pair of the similar-priced Lxxxxtech X-230's, that seem to get great reviews.
Pros: They look nice. That's about it.
Cons: They sound "tinny," like cheaper speakers. Also there's the static noise that comes and goes.
Summary: Creative is such a good computer speaker company, they deserve a lot of credit. These are not my favorite speakers, though. The tweeter is good...Accoustic guitar or mandolin sounds as if someone is sitting right on my desk playing.
Summary: Save up some more money and get something better.
Pros: Bass is decent.
Cons: I got it and one speaker doesn't work. I have to send it back. Of course, I realize this is probably a rare thing. However, I was also quite disappointed in the sound quality of the speakers. A bit jangly and lack of depth. Again, the bass is alright for the size, but doesn't make up for the poor...
Excerpt: I bought the Creative Inspire T3030 speaker system just the other day and i must say it works wonderfuly. The sound is very clear, and the bassbost really rumbles. I use it primarily for my Creative ZEN and i must say it's a very good stereo system.
