Summary: I loved these speakers while they worked. They hooked up easily with my Macbook and iPhone and provided pretty decent sound, not nearly enough to blow the roof off my house but enough to fill a room. One problem is that the speakers are extremely top-heavy and they get knocked over easily. If I'd known this ahead of time I would have affixed some kind of base to provide more stability. Be careful with them, they tip right over if nudged too much.
Summary: This was a great buy for the kitchen. I can bring my laptop in and listen to music while I cook/clean with quality higher than my laptop speakers. However, don't expect to be rattling the walls with bass.
Summary: These are great sounding speakers when something is playing; but when you do not have sound coming out of them and they are just their with the volume button on they make a clicking sound. They are pretty close to the monitor, (space is limited). when I turned them on their sides that clicking sound went away. great quality for the money.
Summary: Alrigh, So these are pretty awesome. I already paired these with my phone when I go home or working around in the home. I can instantly just listen to much on these quality speakers. The ONLY critique is that I mish they packed more of a punch, more juice in the loudness they provided.
Summary: Sound coming from these speakers is clear and with adequate volume for listening up to 20 feet away. Don't expect loads of bass, but most online audio-video sources shouldn't tax the speakers much. These should not be confused with near-field monitors, which can sound very good (within their limits). Of course, these are much more portable than monitors and less costly. Hope they last a few years.
Summary: Not much bass, but hard to expect in this size / price range. Great for the cost and size is easy to toss into a backpack to have music in a hotel or at a friends place. The sound quality is very good though.
