Summary: Nice fit and finish and sound clarity is great, but even with all the fancy bass reflex gadgetry they are basically void of any low end. Realistically they are perfect for an office setup where you want clear audio but don't want to be rumbling everybody else with bass from what you're listening...
Summary: I purchased these speakers for my desktop because I had been researching speakers for weeks and these had the best reviews for the best price. As a casual listener who has only ever owned cheap old speakers, I was surprised and disappointed with these.
Summary: The speakers arrived as expected on time. The issue I had was sync to my computer with windows 7, after going out to creative's website and logging on for directions I was given the same directions I received.
Summary: At times it works well. Frequently it cracks up a bit. It helps if I shake it gently or lay in on its side. Is that the speaker or interference from other "activity" in my home? I have a microwave in the same room, but that doesn't seem to affect the speakers.
Summary: It had too much bass for my purposes, and not enough midrange and treble. Need to listen to foreign language podcasts where midrange and treble brings out natural voice well. The bass overshadows everything else, and there was a slight swallowing echo that was a little distracting.
