Not that great

Jared S., Newegg
7 November 2015
  • Pros: Can get loud without distortion. Had for over a year. Seems to be durable.
  • Cons: There is absolutely 0 bass with these things. I'm not one of those bass junkies that likes to rattle my walls and I rarely turn this over 1/3 of the way up, but I do expect to hear some low end! A bunch of the reviews I read claimed that the bass was decent. Let me assure you there is almost none...

great for the price

John K., Newegg
27 October 2015
  • Summary: I am very happy I bought these speakers.
  • Pros: Easy setup. Small footprint on the desktop. The added bonus of auto-power down when not in use. Great sound for the size with music, movies, games.
  • Cons: None

Great value

Michael Y., Newegg
2 October 2015
  • Summary: I really like how the speakers turn themselves off after being unused for about 10 minutes. Uses 2 watts while being used and 0.3 watts when it's in "sleep"
  • Pros: Great sound and price for the cost. Has every feature of high end speakers. Don't worry, there is a mesh filter that stops small objects from being stuck in the base port hole at the top.
  • Cons: The cord to connect the two speakers was barely enough to reach across my tv. Not a big deal because it's a universal plug

25 September 2015
  • Summary: nice clear audible audio. We use on a system that we use to create training videos. They work very well for this purpose.
  • Pros: Good solid speakers for audio in a training environment. Good price per performance.
  • Cons: none

the hoops one must go through to return junk.

robert s., Newegg
11 September 2015
  • Summary: The last straw is asking for a photo of my Reciept which i had already sent them, but is seems was not small enough... What does a non tech savvy person do in the face of being asked to do this and do that over and over this way and that. Just send me a new power brick you thieves!
  • Pros: NON. I had these a few months and the power brick went bad
  • Cons: To get a replacement one is asked to return the entire package, speakers and all. This seems to be an effort to discourage one seeking to have them make good on their warranty for the junk they sell.

Great Looks, Ok sound

L, Amazon
20 July 2015
  • Summary: These look amazing on the desk, and setup is super easy. Bass is definitely lacking--my speakers on my old laptop actually had more "oomph" to them. They get the job done, but for the price point I was expecting just a little bit more (if bass and treble were on separate controls, I would be much...

User Review

Matthew S., Newegg
6 May 2015
  • Pros: Great speakers for the money. Not an audiophile in the least, but it provides decent two-channel sound.
  • Cons: Not as beefy as bigger sets, but that's not why you're buying this.
