Summary: I was given a set of these speakers. I liked them so well, I went to Ebay and bought two more sets for my other desktops. The bass is very good for this level of speakers. Ebay price was excellant.
Summary: i love this system. i've had 2 of them so far for different needs. if the room your putting this system in is the size of a 2 master bedrooms then its more than enough. i admit the slim 2600 is slightly better with a 19w bass box rather than the 17w on the 2500 but whats 2w when its still load!!!
Summary: looks like there are enough positive reviews but I'll write one anyway. Been playing these speakers for 4-5 years, and they are going strong. Great sound quality and able to play much louder than their size would indicate. They've fallen off the desk plenty of times too, still rockin my music.
Summary: I've had these speakers for three years and decided to write this because I'm still so impressed with them. As a college student, I haven't taken the best care of the speakers because I move a lot and like to drag them around, but they've held up so well, I can't tell the difference between now and when they were brand new. I can't say that for most products under 50 bucks! And the bass makes everything on my desk shake, even when it's not turned up all the way.

Summary: I got these to use with my iPod at the office. My boss was trying to talk me into getting a Bose Sound Dock - but I got these instead. And I'm sure glad I did. I'm no audio expert, but I like my music, and I listen to it a lot, so I'm looking for a good crisp sound with a nice defined bass. For me the best test of speakers is if they can give you good fidelity and a genuine Bass feel at low volumes - and these speakers pass that with flying colors.
Summary: I've never had anything other than the lowest of low speakers on my computer ($10) and my pets broke the last set. I "splurged" on this inexpensive/midlevel set because I'm familiar and satisfied with the Creative brand. Well, I have to say WOW! I plugged these in and set volume and bass on medium and blew the door off my office when I played a song! It sounds like I hooked up a great stereo by the sound. I'm so impressed.
Summary: I bought this a few weeks ago from a computer shop. It is a very low cost good performance speaker. When I was about to buy this speaker, I was able to test it using a pc with an audigy soundcard. It sounded great, I wasn't really able to test it at very high volume. I didn't notice that the bass becomes distorted at high levels until I brought it to my apartment where I was able to play it loud enough.
Summary: these speakers are good for the money. the bass is awesome...and if you have a good sound card then the bass will make you happy. the only coplaint i have is that the plugs are loose...the 2 jacks where the small speakers plug into sometimes dont get connected....you have to push itin, and make sure you dont move it. the remote is convinient, and its simple to set up.
Summary: Actually these don't put out that much bass, Sadly not enough to rock the house or my walls..I gave it 4 stars because these sound great, Very clear indeed! Im just mad at all these reviews that says "Oh, this has too much bass"...If you turn the bass up, the sub sounds like its falling apart..If i had the chance to hear these first, i wouldn't have got them..If you're looking for something with real bass, you should save your money and buy something better then this..
