Summary: With speakers. I've either had really cheap 2.0 speakers of used a headset but these are awesome! Whenever I go to bed I blast the hallelujah chorus on repeat to keep the boogie man out of my room
Summary: I'm not an audiophile, but that's probably okay because it's unlikely an audiophile would be reading reviews about a $150 set of speakers by Creative in the first place. I like deep sounding bass and these speakers deliver that well; I was very pleased by that. I have them setup in my room so I've never stress tested the tweeters or midranges because it would probably make my ears bleed.
Summary: I love everything about these speakers. The mid to high range speakers are petite and the bass speaker isn't as big as I've seen but packs more than enough bass. To top that off, the remote for it is pretty long (wired) and very smooth operating.
Summary: I got tired of trying to balance 5.1 speakers from my computer. From gaming to music to movies trying to get the sound levels just right for each became more involved with each speaker system and sound card. SO decided to scale down to 2.1. I'm very glad I did. As mentioned in some other reviews the bass is strong and if you live in an apartment toning it down will save you some grief from complaining neighbors. The system provides a nice crisp full range sound.
Summary: I bought this system over Black Friday and am very pleased! Immediately, the sub sounded slightly weak, but give it some time burning in and you will be tearing up. I've tried many similar systems at a much heftier price and this performs just as well if not better. Enjoy.
