Summary: This setup is easily the best I've owned ever! Upon arrival I hooked them up and played jazz, hip-hop, & r&b. In a medium sized room, the bass is overwhelming and I'm a bass addict. I turned the sub all the way down and it still bumps. The speakers put out clear/crisp highs even at low volume and does not distort at high volume. Although used, for $130 this was a steal.
Summary: Amazing Bass, shakes my house and the little woofers pack a punch. I had tried two different home theater setups and both were really poor or not loud enough and under powered. Being a PC gamer I have noticed that decent PC 2.1 setups always seem to rock most other sound systems and I have always had better quality sound from PC speakers rather than TV/Home theater systems.
Summary: I love everything about these speakers. The mid to high range speakers are petite and the bass speaker isn't as big as I've seen but packs more than enough bass. To top that off, the remote for it is pretty long (wired) and very smooth operating.
Summary: At $150, the Gigaworks seems to be a middle-of-the road speaker system. While the bass is a little booming and the drivers aren't quite audiophile quality, overall, the sound is very impressive. The drivers are surprisingly crisp even though they are so small. If you are looking to connect this system to your TV or just use it for an MP3 player, and need something fairly reasonable, this is a great choice.
