Sound quality is good but volume control broke down after 1 year.

Summary: I purchased the Creative Gigaworks T3 speaker directly from the Creative online store in Singapore. I am not a audiophile so I am not able to quantify how good or bad the speakers are. However, before I bought the T3, I used another Creative product the A220, which is about 1/8 the price. Between the two, I believe the T3 is better but maybe not 8x more so.
Summary: I bought these speakers on sale to replace my old Altec 2.0 speakers. First thing I notice when I plug them in: "Wow, my onboard sound is really bad." Which is actually a really good thing to say about these speakers. If you're looking for something to upgrade your speakers, these are a really good speakers. If you have onboard audio, that will likely be the new limiting factor in your sound quality.
Summary: Good set of 2.1 speakers. I use these for my bedroom, so I didn't need them to be earth-shattering loud, but they do get pretty loud. The bass is very strong. The only real issue I have is with a weird hissing sound exhibit and moderately-high to high volumes. It's not usually a problem, as I typically don't blast the music from my room, but it's very noticeable at times. The satellites look great; the sub looks good too, but that's hidden away, so I don't really care.
Right There in the Middle of Really Good and Great

Summary: I just picked these up for $100 with the hope of replacing my Logitech Z520's. I gave them 4 stars but would have gone 3.5 if it was available. The Creative T3's are very good. The bass is great... It's crisp and defined and definitely not "fake" sounding. There's a knob on the back of the subwoofer that allows you to adjust the level.
Summary: The set up was easy and the sound is excellent. I bought this initially to serve as free standing system off a stereo in another room. It somehow migrated to the office and replaced the Bose Companion speakers. There is no off on switch so it it made more sense to set it up with the computer where it still sounds great!
Very clear sounding but lacks remote and sound volume.

Summary: Had these speakers for about a week and I absolutely love the sound quality. They have incredible clarity, especially in the higher frequency ranges. They are also very small and light which is a plus for anyone who is tight on space. The only two draw backs I see are the lack of decibels and remote control. This system is hooked up to my HDTV which is luckily very close to my bed. If it were across the room, I would want slightly larger speakers to produce more volume.
Summary: I'm a huge fan of Creative speakers and this is the third set I've purchased (the first two were the i-trigue which, unfortunately, are no longer available) and after reading many MANY reviews on a plethora of speaker sets, I thought this set would be a good choice. I enjoyed the bass boom it produced and the sound is very crisp. But after only 3 blissful days of listening to music, the speakers have stopped working.
Summary: Sound quality is superb. Lows seem to be a little masked by the immense bass, but turning down the bass for certain situations works well. Highly recommended. Especially when they were on sale for 199.
