  • Summary: Was disappointed, It works about the same as any ordinary computer speaker, I think the reviews were misleading. Don't believe all the reviews.

these speakers aren't very powerful and really sound pretty poor. Hardly any bass response at all

JasonA, Amazon
5 August 2014
  • Summary: Bought these for monitoring sound with a video editing system. Not impressed. these speakers aren't very powerful and really sound pretty poor. Hardly any bass response at all. I would expect this from a cheap set of $30 speakers, but not these for $80.

Not Terrible, Not Great

Lon M "lonmad", Amazon
11 June 2014
  • Summary: Overall for the buck they are not bad but if I had kept the box I would return these. There is a huge lower mid-range bump that over whelms most vocals. At first hearing they sound pretty good but begin to wear fairly soon. For speakers I listen to a lot, I really should have spent more.

O.K. for the price.

Oldmutt, Amazon
10 March 2014
  • Summary: I just needed something to replace my old $20 budget speakers and these are about what I expected for the price. I would give it a better rating except for the flimsy connection which I have to Jiggle from time to time when one of the speakers won't play.

No returns allowed!

Nancy, Amazon
22 August 2013
  • Summary: *Amazon does not allow returns for this product because the speakers contain hazardous materials.* I had high hopes for these speakers, but after I set them up, I found that I could not get sound out of the left speaker unless the audio input jack was only partially inserted.

series 2 =/= better

Chris O'Connor, Amazon
21 May 2013
  • Summary: My old T20s finally gave out after many years (volume knob/potentiometer was the culprit) so I figured I'd just buy the newer version to replace them. Got them in and was excited to set them up.

For the money, shoulda bought the Bose.

Autism Hangout, B&H Photo
17 July 2011
  • Excerpt: They're "ok." Probably woulda been a better buy at $50-$60. The Bose were $10 more. I'm kickin' myself I didn't spend the extra $$ for more product. Oh well.

Nice product for a small space

Ritchie, B&H Photo
10 November 2010
  • Excerpt: They are ok, good. Not great, not impressive but decent. Excellent for a small space or low volume like a work but still want to hear the music clearly. The bass ports on top really do move some air, and make a 6x8 cubicle a party zone, that's for sure.

Good Sound for the Price

D. Frost, Amazon
13 August 2007
  • Summary: I had to move my computer to a small setup/desk and my 4.1 speakers just did not make sense. So, I decided to get smaller desktop speakers. I listened to a number of cheaper speakers and it was hit or miss. Some sounded downright awful while other were decent but a bit tinny.
