The best 7.1 surround speakers for a PC you can get, period.

Summary: I really enjoy the sound these speakers produce for movies and games on my computer. I needed the best surround setup for my gaming and movies and believe that I have found it with the Creative S750. I run my speakers using the analog cables to my Creative X-Fi Fatality Pro and just love the sound I get with this setup.
Summary: Bought these in 2004 Sep. - Used it for a simple home theatre setup with DDTS-100 receiver Good: - Speakers are really good for the price - Although designed for the computer user, I find that it is a decent HT speaker set as well. Bad: - The sub fuse blew after 1.5 yrs and the system was unused for nearly 2 yr. I then bought a Yamaha receiver, new & better speaker wires, and I was able to connect the speakers to the receiver.

Summary: This is a great sounding system. Low volume highs come through clearly and the bass pounds. If you're a gamer, this is one to buy, no one will ever sneak up on you again! As for music, all aspects of this speaker system can be adjusted individually allowing for the listener to focus on what he or she likes best. About the only down side, I feel, is the amount of wire one has to contend with and the price.
Excerpt: al;Creative® GigaWorks™ S750 7.1 speakers areTHX® approved making them sound great with games, movies and music! The THX bit that I have mentioned means a lot because it means that George Lucas (yes the star wars guy) has approved these through his company!! They use 7.1 sound which is upmixed by something called CMSS (basically it will take a 6.1 sound and mix it to 7.1) The tweeters are made of titanium The subwoofer is 8" and does extremely deep bass if required (it...
Excerpt: You should not buy these, unfortunatly i did. the speakers give a good clear sound and movies are twice as good with these speakers. but after two months of use the problems starts popping up. the bass suddenly stops. so i got the sub open and changed a fuse, as soon as i startet the speakers up again, the fuse goes.
Excerpt: I used this product for 6 months together with a Audigy 2 THX certified soundcard. My conclusions as follow: Movies & Gaming 5 / 5stars You will be glued to your chair. It's got a huge soundstage thanks to the meaty subwoofer. Satelites are accurate and precise. THX certified they defenitively are! Surround and Stereo Listening 3½ / 5 stars Treble overly bright and scratchy, midband a bit closed in and the sub is a bit woolly.
Excerpt: I have this speakers and enjoy them alot.It simply gives you the best of sound u can imagine and since its well configured,u can hear each instrument used in making the music u are playing.I Love this speakers to death and wish for more from creative.Once you position the speakers to the correct places as instructed by the manual, u feel the true sound 3d or may i say 360 degrees of the music around you.To the gamers aswell, when u buy this speakers and u have a creative...
Excerpt: To sum up in one sentence: These will take your breath away! From the moment the box arrives, you know these mean business. The delivery agent couldn't even lift the box out of the van, I had to do it myself. This is how speakers should be - not light and flimsy but solid as a rock and the sub should be weighted down. Unpacking and Setting-up: As a direct consequence of the 7.1 design, you'll have lots of cables to plug in and route around the room.
