Excerpt: Wish I could give 0 stars. My cat chewed through the wires of my last speaker set so my boyfriend bought me this hunk of garbage. The fact that you have to spend another $50 just to get the compatible USB adapter if you don't want to be leashed to Bluetooth is bad enough. The fact that hat information, however, is only found in the instructions that come with the product that most honest folk only read AFTER purchasing is the reason I won't ever trust this company again.
Summary: This is a terrible product. I purchased it and, after very light use, in about a month it has stopped working! Amazon only allows partial refunds at this point and I have to pay for shipping so I wind up getting penalized for a defective product. Will think twice before ordering a Creative product in the future.
Summary: When connected, this speaker is satisfactory for the price and size. It's required power cord does not bother me because anybody who reads the instructions will figure this out before buying the product. However, once you shutdown your computer or bring it out of range of the speaker, it loses connection and when you turn it back on or bring it back within range, it refuses to reconnect.
Summary: By ResaRita I was so excited when I saw this speaker...until I read it had to be PLUGGED IN!! When is Creative Labs going to come out with a portable, RECHARGEABLE speaker? Arrgh!!! The electrical outlets in my house are NOT convenient to get to. I doubt that it's much different in most homes.
Summary: I bought this to replace my poor TV speakers. Creative is a high quality brand and my performance criteria was undemanding, Unfortunately the original TV speakers proved to be better. The very poor high frequency response makes dialogue unhearable, the volume on the unit only works in blue tooth mode and the jack plug input is directly in the middle of the front of the unit so you have an ugly wire sticking out of the front (poor design).
