Summary: I've been around sound systems for awhile and have had polk stereo system speakers for a long time -- bose tower for live music and bose desktop computer speakers -- I like good quality and will spend a little more to get it; I bought these A220s for a desktop PC -- I've had insignias and logitech systems over the years and more recently as well..
Summary: For the price they are the best. I do wish there was a knob to adjust the subwoofer level and a headphone jack, but the sound is the important thing and this blows away any other 2.1 system you can get at a similar price. Perfect speakers for my Creative Sound Blaster 16 OPL3 synths.
Summary: it's ok for the price, but don't expect anything good. It was a pain to assembly, because (being so cheap) one of the connectors was really twisted. However, right now I can't afford an expensive system, so this is OK.
Summary: My new laptop has terrible speakers! I really couldn't stand to listen to any music or emails with sound. This speaker system is small enough and will fit into the space I had available. It's okay for my use, but I wouldn't consider it fantastic sound. I like it just fine.
Summary: Pretty good deal especially for a 25$ product. Looks great, premium feel to the volume knob and overall seems to have high quality materials. Sounds pretty good and loud but can get a tad distorted at higher volumes.
Summary: We purchased this to hook up to our laptop and music folder when we are fishing down at the dock of a summer rental home and just chilling. Great sound, deep bass, & second only to our sound system at home. Well worth it and reasonably priced for what you get!
