Summary: I want this in a 5.1 system, Please Corsair!
Pros: I really love how these speakers reproduce sound! Hands down the best 2.1 speakers my ears have ever had the pleasure of hearing. The clarity of the sound through this systems separate amps really makes a difference. Corsair has set the bar high with these speakers. The control fob is really snappy, my old Logitech's 5.1 fob was sluggish to respond and would always over or under correct in the settings. Also the built in audio processing is a nice feature set that wor...
Cons: Its not 5.1 but for a 2.1 system it exceeds expectations.
Summary: I like these speakers. They are pretty awesome, no doubt. But why did I not leave a 5 star review? Well, it took a few days for me to be convinced they were that good. I guess my previous system was pretty good anyway, so the punch of massive awesomeness was lost against it's predecessor, a $150 older Logitech system. I had to A/B them a number of times to admit these were really better. The old ones occasionally crackled, which is why I replaced them.
Summary: We have had the product less than three days and now there is no output from the subwoofer. No it is not muted and yes I have tried all three audio inputs as well as different sources. System was excellent prior to the failure. Am starting the RMA process with Corsair, will see how well that goes but thus far am extremely disappointed.
Summary: I love these speakers, I've had them for over a year and when I purchased them they were 300 dollars. A year later and the price tag has dropped 70 dollars to 230. And to be honest I would still pay 300 dollars again, these speakers are that good. Now the sound quality is great, I use them for my Tv rather than my PC but either way they work great. So the sound is crisp you have a good amount of options for how you want to customize the audio.
Summary: Easily one of the best 2.1 PC sets I've used. There is a lot of power there if you want it and the sound quality is great. The volume/mute/sub level is all quick to access from the control module among other settings. There are several built in EQ options as well but myself I just use the standard reference setting. It's definitely one of the largest subwoofers for a package like but then again most others don't use an 8" sub and have this kind of performance.
Pros: -Fantastic sound, -Tons of Power, -Extra headphone/aux inputs, -Slick control module w/ LCD display
Cons: -Speakers and especially the sub are fairly large in size
Summary: My Klipsch GMX A2.1 speakers bit the dust and it was time for a replacement. Those speakers had replaced a set of Klipsch Promedia 2.1 speakers which also died in a similar fashion. I decided to try something new and I am not disappointed. Whereas the Klipsch speakers were very attractive next to my 27" iMac, these speakers are decidedly not. But who cares how they look because they sound GREAT.
