Summary: I don't even know where to begin.....the sound on these speakers is literally breathtaking. I consider myself to be an audiophile, I spend more money on audio equipment for home theater, car audio or headphones than probably anything else and let me just say STUNNING. You really need to hear these to believe how good they are for $250. I would honestly expect to pay much much more for something of such phenomenal quality, pristine, accurate, and lifelike sound.
Summary: Holy crap, what can I say. For 199.99 these cannot really be said anything bad about. The only real problem, and its not even a problem its personal from person to person. Is the sub woofer size, I don't mind it at all but some people don't have the space.
Summary: This is a fun little audio system with very impressive loudness, clarity, and thump for the price. I bought it to use as an audio system in my bedroom, and listen to Pandora in "higher quality audio" mode from my Samsung Galaxy S3 phone. This is an area in which I have some expertise - I've made my living for 20 years as a recording engineer here in Nashville. Does the Corsair sound like my $12k ATC studio monitors? Of course not.
Summary: Best audio speakers that have shocked me like no other. I combined it with a sound blaster z and it made audio even better. There was no science in tweeking anything other than making sure the default output of volume on the computer was at 50%. I did not downloaf the firmware from corsair since it had the most updated one and the blogs reflected opinions of non doing so.
Quality sound from a reasonably-priced 2.1 system.

Summary: At first, I was surprised to find a Corsair speaker system. Before I found this listing on Amazon, I didn't even know Corsair was in the computer speaker business at all. In fact, the SP2500 is their ONLY speaker product on the market. Luckily, Corsair's first and only foray into speakers is largely a success. The SP2500 delivers quality sound across the frequency spectrum.
Summary: I wanted a system that would replace my extremely dated 2.0 speakers on my PC. This was not for anything other than my PC (games and music). I was pleasantly surprised at the deep bass this produces and the control over the subwoofer settings. I am very happy I purchased this and would recommend to a friend. Is it "high end"? No ... but I'm not a audiophile either ... this sounds great to me.
