Summary: i bought this to plug it into my ipod and listen to interviews. the sound is clear not muffled at all. picked up even the quieter parts. i needed something to have by my bed while i recovered from surgery and loud enough to cover a bedroom. it is small great to pack.
Summary: I really like these little speakers. I have three sets around the house and use them with my iPod touch. I do not like using ear buds, and the loudest these iPods & iPhones go are not much. These little speakers without batteries or electric cords give just enough extra sound.
Summary: the speakers advertised are not what i paid for. i received an old dusty set of stone-age speakers (not even the same brand as advertised) that barely put out any sound. i was completely dissatisfied in this purchase.
Summary: I bought these speakers, foolishly expecting them to be at least a little better than my tinny laptop speakers. Unfortunately, that was not the case; they were so quiet that even with my computer's sound turned up all the way I at first could not tell if they were even working.
Summary: The sound is very poor but this is a nice solution for let's say listening to your iPod while you cook... if it's right there next to you. Also, the sound quality is not so good either. However, this are pretty cheap speakers so you are only receiving what you paid for.
Summary: My first warning should have been the branding: the word "COBY" stamped on these speakers is clearly meant to be mistaken for "SONY". Hilarious. Anyway, I have no opinion of the sound quality of the speakers because the cable broke while trying to remove a piece of packaging tape from it.
