According to reviews, the two-channel MM-1 speaker system from British speaker maker Bowers & Wilkins delivers audiophile sound quality for PC users. Reviewers praise the music quality, with its highly accurate sound reproduction, which is helped by the onboard digital-to-audio (DAC) technology. Bass integrates well with the other ranges, but there's no subwoofer, so action movies, games and bass-heavy music may suffer. Read more

If you're in need of a great pair of computer speakers, look no further. These bad boys are worth every penny and have a hell of a punch. Sleek, modern style is a huge plus for me. I was skeptical since they were only a 2.0 system and not 2.1, but they have plenty of bass to keep the heavy drive going. Read more
These things are very expensive, no doubt. But the sound is so precise and clear, that it is probably just about worth it, if you are a perfectionist :) Despite their size the speakers sound amazingly balanced. Although it is not a 'big' sound like a set of full-sized hi-fi speakers, they have a detail and warmth that is startling. Before I got these I tried B&W's Zeppelin Air which people also rave about. I've bought two pairs of these speakers in the past year which I feel is testament to their amazing quality of sound but I have found a much better use for them. In a world currently obsessed with the thinness of TVs I'd like to highlight the absolutely horrid, tinny audio that 99% of them produce due to their ever-shrinking cavities. Read more
