Summary: I use these as computer speakers. They sound great and are worth the money as they are small and easy to place anywhere. The disadvantage is they are not blue tooth. Buy a Tivoli model one blue tooth radio radio and plug these into the record out jack.
Pros: These Bose are the best computer speakers I have found. Very open and rich in sound and balanced.
Cons: Not blue tooth speakers. Tivoli Radio BT does a nice job making these blue tooth so you have the advantage of computer mobility. The Tivoli is a very highly rated product as an AM/FM blue tooth radio on its own merits It is sold by Crutchfield.
Summary: These are fantastic speakers. The first day that I had them I had the volume 3/4's the way up and it was so loud that I had to back them down. As for the sound, just great. Well worth it to me. The speakers have a small foot print which helps save space on my desk.
Pros: Great sound
Space savings - smallish
Summary: Just got a new Dell All-In-One 2350 and the speakers are horrible so I searched and discovered these Bose units. I was reluctant to jump in on a set of speakers I hadn't heard but the reviews and stylish design with nifty remote, I decided to jump in.
Pros: Very stylish - top quality - compliment my PC perfectly. Big sound - crisp & clear.
Cons: Other than a somewhat steep price, no real demerits here.
Summary: I replaced my very good and ancient Microsoft 3 piece USB (80) speakers with this Bose speakers for number of reasons: a) Better sound quality (and I am not disappointed at all) and smaller foot print, and again I am not disappointed at all.
Pros: Superb sound quality, small footprint. No hassle connection
Cons: The speakers are connected to speaker outlet of a pc/laptop. As such, the volume control of the computer does not control the volume on speaker (directly). One needs to separately adjust the sound volume by controls (or remote) of the speakers. With USB connection (at least MS Speaker 80 did that...
Summary: Bought these speakers for TV viewing. I wear hearing aids and even though they are state-of-the-art and expensive, I was having a very difficult time with word recognition in the audio coming from our flat screen speakers.
