Summary: Originally I wanted a 2.1 speaker system to go with the television in my travel trailer. I sold the trailer but still use the Bose Companion 3 Multimedia Speaker System. For us it makes movies more exciting to watch when we camp in a cabin.
Summary: I tracked down a new set of the Series 1 because I wanted the speaker brackets for a zero desktop space solution. I've owned the Klipsch Pro-Media set and a high end Altec-Lansing set, however this Bose is easily my favorite because it sounds great at the low volumes I usually listen at.
Summary: After I bought them I saw cheaper ones on the market but all and all it was a good buy. I got quick shipping and everything was in the box. Even this model is good for just about anybody. I listen to my iTunes while work on computer and even had to use them for a party I threw.
Just about perfect! Treat yourself to great sound!

Summary: Just wanted to share my thoughts about my Bose Companion 3 Multimedia Speakers. These speakers are simply amazing. This is not my first rodeo and I have owned over a dozen computer speakers over the years. I've owned JBL and Klipsch and many others.
Summary: Ok so the sound is amazing, if your interested in anything with bass in it get these. This ish bumps so hard. I'm a college student and everyone of my friends come over to jam to these things. Its the way music should sound.

Summary: A lot of people tell me that Bose is not worth the price for how it sounds. That may be true, but I bought these speakers because they offered the best balance of a small form factor, elegant looks and good sound.
Pros: - Minimal desk space required. - Stands can be removed to make the small speakers take up even less (vertical) space. - Very clean design will look good with any furniture. - Tap to mute on the puck is very convenient. - Additional input and output on puck is also great! - Puck is heavy enough to...
Cons: - Sound is pretty good, but I think I can hear what people mean about it lacking in the mids. It may depend on what style of music you listen to.
