  I got the Gigs, and today tested the Companion. The Bose's subwoofer is sharper; i mean by that that it gives the impulse, but it doesn't last longer than that. I feel the T3 satelites are better, the sound is a lot clearer. So in the end, it's stronger and bigger bass for 100$ more vs clearer sound but weaker (a good sound card or source can compensate up to a point).
