BOSE Best Speakers I Have Ever Had - Perfect Sound Reproduction
3 November 2014
Summary: I never had a feel of Bose Speakers. So, was very excited when I received the products. The sound output is excellent. Initially I thought there might be no woofer output as in other normal speakers. But, I found that the woofer are in-built into each of the speakers. And the power of the speakers is excellent. Good Surround sound. One more thing I liked is that, there is no control for Bass/Treble separately. Only Volume control is there.
Excerpt: I purchased the Bose Companion 2 speakers for use at my desk with my laptop. I've had experience with a previous model and they've only improved. The sound is rich and strong from such a small speaker, the bass could be more, but without a subwoofer, its deep and strong enough for what most people would use these speakers for.
Pros: Easy To Set Up, Good Power Output, Great Sound Quality
Summary: Sounds is clear and crisp - It's not very heavy on the base but I think its what makes this product so good. Background instruments which are usually lost in the noise - are now noticable and adds great value to the overall product. This Bose product may not be at its top of the line price but it is still a top of the line product.
Summary: These are wonderful computer speakers. Like others have said, the stereo separation is very clear. Even my relatively inexpensive Koss headset sounds better when using these small speakers. My old computer speakers didn't sound good at all for listening to music. I wanted a better sounding system without having to set up a subwoofer as well, and these Bose speakers more than fit the bill.
Summary: The speakers are very well packed and are definitely well built. However I don't like their sound at all. The bass overpowers the rest of the tonal range: mid tones and high tones are blunt or absent. Tinkering with the equalizer is required to get a somewhat balanced sound, which is a bummer. Also, it would have been nice to add an LED to indicate they are switched on. Wouldn't have bought them, had I tested them in a brick & mortar shop.
Summary: I was on the fence for years before deciding to buy these. I thought $99.00 was too much for a pair of PC speakers with no sub-woofer. After experiments with tiny sound bars, USB and battery-powered toy speakers, I finally took the plunge and went for these. I couldn't be happier with the sound I get from these. Sometimes, you do get what you pay for.
Summary: I've made due with an inexpensive pair of Logitec speakers for years, but recently bought a nice set of headphones. The difference in sound quality between the two was stark, making me realize how much I was missing when listening to music or watching movies on my PC. I wanted better sound but was still on a budget. After scrutinizing several options I found that for $100 these speakers are the best available value by far.
