Manny Rios, B&H Photo

  • Excerpt: The design fits perfectly with my iMac. I have them on a shelf at ear level. The sound quality is perfect for music from your computer. So far, I'm content with this purchase and would recommend them

Great sound for such a tiny footprint

Bshops2much! "bradley", Amazon
14 December 2014
  • Summary: the Audioengine A2+ have great sound for such a compact speaker. I highly recommend using with a separate subwoofer because the A2's weak spot is in the low end. Nice clean design.

Excellent Computer Speakers

DanC, Amazon
24 June 2014
  • Summary: These computer speakers have excellent clarity and superior imaging. The bass is not quite as warm as I would like it to be. Hooking the two speakers together requires the old fashion way of using speaker wire attached by screw terminals.

Well balanced, natural non-tiring sound

Tomek K, Crutchfield
11 June 2014
  • Summary: I got them for Christmas for my son, he uses them with MacBook Pro - connection is USB and we utilize the built-in DAC.The speakers sound very natural and not a bit bright / harsh. We have them on the little stands which help with soundstage imaging and overall sound clarity.
  • Pros: High quality "audiophile" sound (well balanced, not too bright, non-fatiguing). Works perfectly with a subwoofer.
  • Cons: They broke and had to be replaced. I think they are a little pricey (but that's just me...)

Great set of speakers

Silentman1994, Amazon
18 May 2014
  • Summary: A few months ago I purchased these speakers to have higher quality speakers and they rock! They give off a nice full sound, easy set up, and well built. All the cords it came with were long enough for me to move around as needed and not need them right next to a plug.

Audiophiles Heaven

YimYorm, Amazon
10 May 2014
  • Summary: At first I was skeptical on buying the Audioengine A2, since it looked to be overpriced and looking at the $100 M-Audios. I did have a bad experience, with my first batch of the A2 from the Seller( was not cooperative) the right speaker was dead(due to the broken Amp in the left speaker) Luckily,...

Good Speakers

A. Gift For You, Amazon
27 March 2014
  • Summary: really like the speakers overall, they have an excellent build quality, design, packaging and sound. The only downside is they are very small speakers so they don't have any low end. Pair these up with your favorite sub woofer and enjoy.

Good full sound

Billb, Amazon
22 March 2014
  • Summary: I bought these to put high in a large covered atrium. Although they are small (compared to the room) they do a good job filling the room with good fidelity music.

Audioengine A2+ Premium Powered Desktop Speakers

Buzz4, Amazon
12 March 2014
  • Summary: These are some punchy dark sounding speakers. Mid tones and highs are not very crispy. You will have to use sound card EQ software to shape the sound for your particular taste. They are heavy little rascals and the main speaker does some pumping and you can feel the air pumping out the front lower...
