Summary: These speakers are great for my Macbook Pro and I am excited to use them this year in my dorm room. They produce clear sound and do what speakers are suppose to do. However, there is some feedback in the left speaker but other than that, they work pretty good.
decent for the price, I did receive a defective set.

Summary: I'm replacing a set of HP USB 1 speakers that must have got when they first came out, the sound was basically just ok for system sounds and voice, not for music. These are a nice upgrade for a just a set of USB speakers. Being portable you do not get much in terms of cable length. Left and right speakers can be placed 30 inches apart and there is about 30 inches of USB and speaker cable to go from the right speaker cube to your outputs.
Summary: The appearance of these USB speakers is great. I have them in the lime green color, which, granted, is not for everyone. These speakers are available in several other bright colors, as well as much more muted black, silver, or white. The one thing I WOULD change is the color of the cords. They are white and quite long, and because there are numerous cords attached to these speaker, the bright white is quite conspicuous. Black would have worked better for me.

Summary: I loved these small, blue boxes when I had them hooked up to my iMac, but when I tested them on my iPad, powering them through a USB wall charger (1 A output), I got a swishing sound like the inside of a conch shell. I thought, oh, no, they won't work with the iPad, and I'm going to have to downgrade my rating. And then I switched to a 2.1 A output on the wall charger, and the speakers worked like a charm.
Summary: l'm using these speakers with an old netbook that never had good audio. Granted, these S111 speakers are low priced, but they don't have cheap sound. Don't expect sound quality that an audiophile would rave over, and don't expect much bass--then you won't be disappointed. I don't like the volume control knob, it is too large and being on the back, too cumbersome to use.
Summary: This is a plain looking set of cube stereo speakers that delivers. They are tiny, about the size of a big kiwi fruit. You power them by plugging it to a USB wall outlet or directly to your laptop's USB slots. The audio input comes in via a 3.5 mm audio cable. Both cables are permanently attached to the speakers, which can be a convenience or a bit annoying, depending on your preferences.
Summary: I tried using this with my desktop PC to replace a big set of speakers and sub-woofer that I just didn't need or have space for. Unfortunately, there was a buzzing sound coming from the speakers the whole time it was on. I tried them on a laptop, and the buzzing disappeared, so I'm using it for that now. I don't know if dinging them a star is totally fair, since they do work well for the laptop, but I wished they worked on the desktop, too.
