Summary: I can't really tell you how well the speakers perform as I have been unable to connect them to the LG BP135 DVD player which I purchase them for. I thought the the USB power connection would plug into the DVD player and I would get sound, all I receive is a humming.
Good for personal use - not so much for conference room

Summary: While the speakers would work just fine for personal use, I purchased them for use on a presentation in a conference room of 15 viewers. The sound was not loud enough for everyone to hear. I should have purchased speakers more specified for presentations.
Summary: I had the buzzing problem with the two sets I bought. It seems to only be an issue when one uses the computer USB for power, but for me that was the whole point of these - speakers that would turn on and off with the computer. There is clearly insufficient 60 Hz filtering.
Summary: A lot of other reviews have mentioned it, but I also get a buzzing noise after plugging these into my computer's ports. Best way I know to get around it is to turn my computer volume up as high as I can to help keep the speaker's volume control low.
Summary: I would have returned these but stupidly I threw the box out. Even turned up all the way the volume is very low, better off without them cluttering my little table for my laptop. If you buy any of these, make sure you keep your box so you can return them if needed.
Works perfectly on some devices, not so well with others
Mike Tarrani "Jazz Drummer", Amazon

Summary: Note: I would love to love this speaker set, but it has inconsistent performance with various devices. I received a review sample and was pleased by the sound when I plugged this into the phone port on my ThinkPad T61.
Summary: I wanted a compact unit for my desktop. These fit the bill, were inexpensive and look nice. We were worried about the feedback as some reviews warned. It did give us feedback issues initially.
Summary: I should have read the reviews or description better because I originally thought this was a full USB device but then found out it's still got an analog jack. It still worked for the application, fortunately I wasn't ordering it to get sound in an application doesn't have an analog jack.
