Summary: I had the buzzing problem with the two sets I bought. It seems to only be an issue when one uses the computer USB for power, but for me that was the whole point of these - speakers that would turn on and off with the computer. There is clearly insufficient 60 Hz filtering. With the my desktop, I was able to supply enough power that I could leave the manual volume control down low, which mitigated the buzzing sufficiently to make the speakers useable.
Summary: A lot of other reviews have mentioned it, but I also get a buzzing noise after plugging these into my computer's ports. Best way I know to get around it is to turn my computer volume up as high as I can to help keep the speaker's volume control low. However it works fine with no buzzing when I use my phone's AC adapter. Not sure if it is an issue that is associated with all computers, but would be wary before purchasing.
Summary: I would have returned these but stupidly I threw the box out. Even turned up all the way the volume is very low, better off without them cluttering my little table for my laptop. If you buy any of these, make sure you keep your box so you can return them if needed. EDIT: I received a replacement directly from the company based on this review, as I did not contact them directly. They sent me an email and just needed verification of purchase.
Works perfectly on some devices, not so well with others

Summary: Note: I would love to love this speaker set, but it has inconsistent performance with various devices. I received a review sample and was pleased by the sound when I plugged this into the phone port on my ThinkPad T61. The sound was clear and I could hear every note on the album that I use to test speakers (Miles Davis' Kind of Blue ). I use that album because the instruments in the ensemble cover low, mid and high range frequencies.
Summary: I wanted a compact unit for my desktop. These fit the bill, were inexpensive and look nice. We were worried about the feedback as some reviews warned. It did give us feedback issues initially. We were ready to ship them back when my OH mentioned it was probably because they weren't grounded being plugged into the usb. I took an iphone wall unit charger and plugged into a power strip and voila! It worked for us. Speakers are a bit flat sounding but I'm not an audio snob.
Summary: I should have read the reviews or description better because I originally thought this was a full USB device but then found out it's still got an analog jack. It still worked for the application, fortunately I wasn't ordering it to get sound in an application doesn't have an analog jack.
Summary: The speakers sounds great, they're loud and look very nice. Only thing is there's this buzzing, static noise that's quite annoying. I think I got one with a faulty aux cable that causes the noise but other than that it's a great little pair of speakers
Summary: The good: The speakers are small but put out quite a bit of sound which I like because my desk is kind of small and I don't like clutter on it anyway, so I can keep these right underneath either side of my monitor. The bad: The bass is noticeably missing which was expected for a cheap pair of speakers, however I am still surprised at the range of sound the speakers deliver.
Summary: Speakers are small and seem to create a good amount of sound for the size, however... my problem is that I get a pretty steady amount of white noise through them. If nothing is open, they're silent. If the computer is accessing the hard drive, I can hear it through the speakers. I don't know if these speakers are shielded or not which could be the reason for the problem.
