Summary: I have one thing to say and that is they were great to me. I had to return them and did. they said they checked the tracking and said it was delivered. I have tried to help as best I can but am having a very hard time. I am sorry. I think if I have to return anything again I am going to get some one to sign for it. That way I will be shure it gets to the right people! Even if it cost is a little more TRUST ME ON THIS ONE!!
Summary: VS4621 is quite a good product overall, it has a really powerful bass, some called it bass monster, although the sound is dominated with bass, i still find the other sectors not bad at all.
The biggest problem with VS4621 is that it is so easily get distorted and the only way to solve it is to play it close to the maximum volume, of course by lowering your computer volume at first, then play it normally, done.
Pros: Superb bass, nice design
Cons: Easy to get distorted, weird tweeter placement
Summary: I would like to say that the speakers just as expected. I have already had an experience with Altec Lansing speakers and I was pleased with the way they performed, that's my reason for purchasing them a second time.
Summary: This system sounds very good. I owned a similar Altec Lansing system for over ten years and thought it very good, as well. If I hadn't damaged a plug on the subwoofer I would still have it today. The old system was designed better in that the speaker cones were protected. The new ones are not so you have to be careful where you place the subwoofer.
Summary: The speakers arrived in a timely fashion and were very properly packaged. Upon, opening the speakers, I was impressed by the unique design and the build quality of all the parts. Set up was quick and easy. Both speakers connect directly to the subwoofer and the main auxiliary input goes the the subwoofer as well. The power button on the back of the subwoofer is only a minor inconvenience.
Summary: This is a somewhat higher end speaker. It offers full range sound and rich mids. Only problem is that the subwoofer is way too loud. If you're a base head you would DEAFINATLY love this speaker, but for me, I had my base turned ALL the way down and it's still too loud. In fact, the bass even distorts human voice when I'm watching movies, and make it super basey. If you can get pass the thumping base, it's a great, stylish speaker.
Summary: Great speakers for the price paid. The bass is a little ridiculous and hollow sounding if set up loud. You can tell it's from a small sub and just sounds flat. We keep it almost all the way down and the clarity is a lot better. I had the older version 4210's a few years back that I actually liked a little more than these but these are a bit more stylish and the satellites are a little crisper.

Summary: The unit works fine and is appropriately priced. I wish I had a longer DIN cable to move the left-hand controls further from the base unit. I might look for a 9-Pin M/F cable to extend it a bit more so left-right channel separation is better in the arrangement I'm using in my bedroom.
Summary: this product is pretty good for the money,I do like the side mounted sub-woofer speaker, but I do not like the fact that none of the speakers do not have a grill. I understand the picture shows the sub-woofer that way,but nothing indicates the two satelite speakers with the downward mid-range speakers have no protection. The sound quality is good, but in my opinion it does not have the volume of the Altec Lansing ATP-3 that I used to have and got this as a replacement for.
