Summary: I bought the Newltec lansing VS3251 four weeks ago and was immediately impressed with the number of features available on this inexpensive phone. The NewNewtec Lansing Vs3251's size is perfect for carrying has a pretty good lifespan of roughly 4 hours. My only complaint is that.
Summary: Altec Lansing has always been a quality name when it comes to speakers. I have had several sets of Altecs over the years. The VS3251 is Altec's Value Series of speakers. I have a set of VS 4121 2.1 speakers and they pack more punch than the VS3251's. In a small confined space the VS3251 is a good set of speakers. I have a Creative Labs Audigy 2ZS Platinum Pro sound card and the seperation is good, but the sub-woofer is lacking. The satellites are nice and crisp.
Summary: Its a great speaker system for the price that I got it for (40$ total) anyway, the only cons to it are the wires need to be hidden, and if you can't hide them they don't exactly blend in. The problem that I had was the manual is hard to understand but the system is easy enough to set up. The remote is awesome makes it super easy to adjust the volume.
Summary: Good sound for the money. Great for my kids room. She really enjoyes the system, sounds good and easy to operate. Just don't tell them how much you payed for it because they will think is worth a lot more.
