Summary: The title says it all. This is a very simple set up that will add great sound to your computer system. It is great for music, movies, sports, and whatever else that has sound and comes out of your computer! The sound is amazing, the two satellite speakers give great clarity, but they do buzz a slight bit when you begin to push them to their max volume (I don't recommended doing that anyways, and you shouldn't have a need to).
Summary: I purchased this system for my girlfriend's computer; I have and Altec-Lansing with the same wattage on my main computer, but after hearing this one I'll be buying another one for myself! Gotta love these prices and friendly service...
Something little and light weight which could rock your room
9 November 2012
Summary: I bought this because I needed a pair of analog speakers for my PlayStation 3 to play Rocksmith. I think this would make a great desktop computer speakers, but I was not prepared for the surprise I got from these little speakers. A typical practice amplifier for electric guitar is somewhere from 10Watts to 30Watts with single 8"-12" speaker. This 2.1 configuration has a combined of 28Watts which is not bad.
Summary: The speakers are affordable and do the work fine. There is no bass control beside that the sound is clear and good.If you are looking for a decent price and O.K. sound this are for you......to hear both speakers clearly the volume needs to be up...the louder the better!!
Summary: I came into this with a budget in mind, so I researched around all the 2.1 speakers available (for a long time!) and decided this would be it. Guess what, I'm not disappointed and in fact it's better than I'd expected. It's perfect for a medium-size bedroom/workroom... I have always been a fan of Altec Lansing, and seems like I'll remain so for awhile still.
