Summary: I was completely blown away by the sound of these affordable speakers! I hooked it up to my laptop and got the richest, deepest sound that you could imagine! I HIGHLY recommend these speakers!!
Summary: I liked the idea of the volume thing being on the desk and not mounted on the speaker. The speakers sit a ways away and I thought this was a great idea. BUT... when my computer is booting up these speakers give horrible feedback. Even with volume all the way down. The sound is hollow and the bass is extremely boomy and over powering. Sub volume down to minimum its still very over done. These are junk. I wish I had just stuck with the speakers built into the monitor.
Summary: Quality from these speakers are not extraordinary but serves it's purpose. I have these plugged into my HD to to add some bass to my movies. Mounts very easily, just by a nail or screw ( I've attached pics ). People complain about feedback and humming but though the feedback is present, I only experience it when my cellphone is with a 3feet or so range from the controller or speakers.
Summary: Whenever my Airport Extreme (early 2009) power supply is plugged in, these speakers make a very audible sputtering noise. In other words, it's not the router's radio signal, it's the router's power supply that is causing this. In earlier days, my AT&T phone used to make loud noises on these speakers, too. That hasn't happened for some years, for some reason. So, the speakers are useful only if you don't have these interferences.
Summary: This speaker sound is just awesome they have Bose quality without the Bose price tag. The only drawback is the cables to many of them, but if you can hide the cable or ignore them you won't be disappointed
Summary: I bought this identical set up 5 years ago for about $50 from a retailer. The volume control wore out and to no surprise. I use it constantly on top of my desktop as my sole entertainment system. I am always adjusting the volume so the loud sequences during action scenes doesn't boom too loud and disturb my roommate. I have always had higher end car and home audio, designing the systems myself.
