Summary: These speakers don't have an external volume control...They operate using computer volume control. So if you want to use them on a device like a smartphone or MP3 player then get something else. The sound is far below the quality of other USB powered speakers I've had in the past. NOT IMPRESSED!
Summary: Not very loud. Quality is fine but there is no volume control and they aren't much better than laptop internal speakers. I have Altec-Lancing Model 19 studio monitors, which are the best speakers ever; so I expected a lot more from these.
Summary: No a bad purchase...not enough bass but it would do just fine on my Apple Mac Mini. It's much louder then what I expected. I would have gotten the next upper choice if I wanted more bass. Overall, these speakers suits my needs just fine.
Summary: No, the Headline was not a typo... This is yet again another instance of Apple's fury-inducing "proprietary" shenannigans pushing me into purchasing new products that they do not produce and/or throwing away expensive products of theirs that have become entirely obsolete!
Summary: Although I originally purchased these speakers to go with my husbands' laptop, we decided to try them out on my computer instead. They are not very powerful, but they do the job that is needed. I am sure I will eventually upgrade for my desktop but these will be perfect for my desk at work.
Summary: These speakers where to be part of a build for my wife using an Intel i3-4130T and Asus B85M-G. Since I had purchased a set of Altec Lansing Speakers for my son a few months before and was impressed by them I took a chance at these inexpensive computer speakers.
